- Approximately 46 years involved in volleyball plus 24 of educational teaching
- Established MATRIX (Formerly MGCVC) in 2006
- Coached more than 50 athletes who have gone on to play at all levels of volleyball and more go every year
- Local club play has resulted in over 20 State Championships in Mississippi since 2006 as well as 7 Max Prep High School All American honors and
- 18 All State players
- 2016-2017: Mississippi Coach of the Year
- 2007-present: Board of Directors for Gulf Coast Volleyball Region
- 2015-2020: Head Volleyball Coach at Hancock County Schools. Team advanced to the Final Four every year, the State Championship 3 years and won the State Championship in 2016
Rick has been a fixture in Mississippi volleyball since arriving in 2006 and continues to this day with a passion for teaching and the game. “My dream is not to simply take a student or athlete to the heights of his/her greatest dreams, but to help that person soar to a new level he/she could have never imagined.”
