Jesse Rechtien

• Qualified for Nationals 6 times
• Coached in 8 High School State Championships, Won 2016 State Championships as assistant coach with Rick Rechtien
• Helped grow MATRIX to 30 travel teams with 100 developmental players (400+ total athletes)
• Proudly helped 40 of our athletes take their game to the next level with a college scholarship
• Personally Coach in the USA High Performance Pipeline
• 2020 season our U16 open team finished ranked 102 out of 7,000 in the country

Born and raised in Missouri where Jesse grew up playing volleyball competitively, he moved to Mississippi in 2006 as a volunteer aid during Katrina. He shortly along with his father and brother realized the need for a youth volleyball program in the southern region. In 2007 they formed MGCVC (now MATRIX) with just 12 players now serving 400+ athletes. To this day they are a part of the Gulf Coast Region in USA Volleyball which contains South MS, Coastal AL, and the panhandle of FL.
